FAME
creation 2026[désir de gloire]
— by Julia Robert
Performance vocale expérimentale explorant notre rapport à la célébrité et au désir de reconnaissance dans une société hyperconnectée.
FAME is a musical and scenic project that explores our relationship with celebrity, recognition, and the desire for glory in a hyperconnected society. Through an experimental vocal performance blending electronic and acoustic elements, Julia Robert questions the mechanisms of social validation, self-exposure, and the quest for existence through others' gaze.
This powerful vocal solo oscillates between fragile intimacy and spectacular demonstration, creating a space where the desire to be seen confronts the fear of disappearing, authenticity meets self-staging.
The music, built from samples, vocal loops, and electronic processing, creates a hypnotic sonic universe that evokes social networks, TV sets, and starification rituals.
FAME questions: what are we willing to sacrifice to exist in others' eyes? How does the desire for recognition transform our identity? Where does self-performance begin and end?
A show that particularly resonates with our era of influencers, likes, and permanent self-promotion.
